Inspired by the play of light and shadow on ponds in Sydney’s Botanic Gardens, Ian Greig continues his fascination with water as a rich source of imagery in his new exhibition of works. With its inverted perspectives, shifting spatial illusions, transient echoes and traces of a reflected reality, the beautiful and ephemeral floating world of a pond provides a rich and complex visual experience.
