SUMMER sees Baird explore the essence of the season; investigating the activities we engage in & the objects that surround us. He continues to play with the traditional genre of still life in his distinctive whimsical style; fantastical flowers sit majestically amongst stylized interiors, whilst his figures bend & twist themselves into frame. Vintage fabrics & wallpapers are collaged into his compositions giving texture to the surface, spatial depth & the impression of woodblock printing.
